Andreasstraße sits right in the old town of Verden (Aller): St Andrew's Church is on your doorstep, behind it opens the cathedral square with the famous cathedral – and you are already at the start of the pedestrian zone with its cafés and shops. The German Horse Museum is also just steps away. Everything culinary is within easy walking distance: Restaurant Pades (about 200 metres, one of the best restaurants in town – be sure to book ahead), the Domschänke right behind the cathedral serving German cuisine, stone-oven pizza at Sergio just around the corner, and Portofino for Italian classics. On nearby Lindhooper Straße you will also find Pizzeria Da Vide and Asia Verden; sushi and a good Indian restaurant are available in the old town as well.
