Altstadt Apartments Verden combines historic old town buildings with modern, digitally organized hospitality. For more than six years, we have continuously developed our apartments, processes and systems in order to make stays as simple, flexible and modern as possible.

Our accommodations are located in listed historic buildings in the heart of Verden’s old town. These buildings offer character, history and a special atmosphere, but they also require significantly more maintenance and care than modern constructions. To preserve and further develop these properties for the future, we regularly invest in renovations, technical modernization, new heating systems, doors, Wi-Fi infrastructure and intuitive guest solutions.

Most apartments have already been extensively modernized and are continuously being improved. Our goal is to combine historic architecture with modern standards while preserving the original character of the buildings.

A major focus for us is the consistent digitalization of all processes. Guests benefit from digital self check-in via personal door codes, modern booking technology, flexible add-on services and fast, clear communication.

This includes flexible additional services such as early check-in, late check-out, baby cots, extra towels or interim cleanings during longer stays. At the same time, cleaning staff are available daily on site, allowing us to respond quickly to many guest requests.

Our apartments are suitable for business travelers, families, weekend guests and longer stays alike. Business travelers especially benefit from stable high-speed Wi-Fi with modern network technology and fiber-optic internet, high-quality beds and fully equipped kitchens.

We intentionally aim to offer a flexible and modern alternative to traditional hotels while still keeping prices as fair as possible despite high operating costs, professional laundry service and ongoing investments.

Bed linen is professionally cleaned and freshly prepared for every stay. High chairs for children are available free of charge. Dogs are welcome after prior booking, as long as consideration is shown for other guests, neighbors and the apartments themselves.

Since our apartments are significantly larger and more extensively equipped than typical hotel rooms, we cannot offer classic single-room pricing. The base rate generally applies to one or two guests using one bed. If additional beds are used by two guests, this must be booked accordingly, as it creates additional effort for cleaning, laundry and preparation.

After many thousands of bookings and a large number of positive guest reviews, we know that not everything can always be perfect — especially in historic buildings with intensive use. What matters most to us is being easily reachable, communicating openly and solving issues as quickly and practically as possible.
